Crossing the border between Sussex and Cambridgeshire, the River Lark is a tributary of the River Great Ouse. It rises near Bury St Edmunds and joins the Great Ouse south of Littleport.
It’s 31 miles long, and has been used as a navigation since Roman times. Paddle the River Lark if you enjoy peace and quiet, lush green riverbanks, and quaint stone bridges.
