Go Green Paddle UK Membership

Go Green Paddle UK Membership

Paddle UK’s Go Green membership option helps make membership more environmentally friendly and offers members more choice. Based on member feedback members can choose whether they want to receive a membership card and pack, or choose a digital membership.

The Go Green option means members can use a PDF membership card*. And if you delete it accidentally, you can download another from your dedicated member dashboard in the Hub. You can also access your member benefits through the Hub, giving you instant access with no paper in sight. All communications will also be sent digitally. Keep an eye out for the email with the digital membership card when you join!

*Please note that if you select the Go Green option you don’t receive a hard copy membership pack and card.

Supporting our Clear Access, Clear Waters campaign

When you opt to Go Green, Paddle UK allocate £2 from your membership fee to support our Clear Access, Clear Waters campaign and fund Big Paddle Cleanup and biosecurity kits.

To date, Go Green members have raised £50,000 towards these initiatives. In 2023, they gave away over 600 cleanup kits, setting aside 150 exclusively for Go Green members, with the remaining reaching clubs and community groups. These kits are made up of eco-friendly pickers, made from recycled fishing nets, as well as gloves and sacks.

Paddle UK are distributing over 500 biosecurity kits, with 200 allocated for Go Green members. These kits play a crucial role in preventing the spread of invasive species that can harm native ecosystems and obstruct our waters.
