Wombourne Kayak Club “Unique Selling Point” is coaching at a starter level to white water. We have, 6 Paddle Sport Instructors, 4 Coaches at L2, two  L3  Moderate White Water Coaches. Starter sessions can be experienced at our pool once a month in the first week on a Saturday from 4.00-5.00 pm. (Ring or Email to book, check dates. Note limited club boats available). During April to October we also paddle at Jackfield Rapids to help our members’ progress from sheltered water to moving water at grade 2. We offer qualifications in WWSR, Paddle Sport Instructor, 1st Aid and offer opportunities to progress to the next level as coaches or white water leaders. We also assess White Water Awards. Finally, throughout the year on a Saturday we venture further afield to develop and maintain our moving river skills mainly grade 2-3, but our more experienced paddlers provide the opportunities to attempt grades 3-4 such as Rivers: Lyn, Dart or a trip to Scotland.
