Nairn Kayak Club was founded in 2011. The club provides introduction and intermediate paddling training, as well as in house practical training sessions on subjects such as first aid, VHF radio, trip planning. There are several trips organized each year to explore new areas.The club prides itself in having a great social aspect too, arranging several get togethers throughout the year for paddlers of different disciplines to meet one another. We always hold a summer BBQ and a Christmas meal for members. The areas the club is active in includes River, Sea, and Sprint kayaking. Over the colder months there are pool sessions, talks and presentations.
