We are a small club with member age ranging from 10yrs to 60+. We are mainly recreational, although the club is involved in slalom by running an annual division 2/3/4 event, and with some members paddling in slalom events. Our main club emphasis is to teach safe river running skills and to progress members to be confident in the moving water environment. Club night is Friday. Pool training sessions for all take place between October and March. Open water training takes place on the river during spring /summer. There is additional open water paddling over the winter for those who are sufficiently competent. Equipment is provided for club members.
