Nottingham Kayak Club is a multi-discipline club, in particular, Sprint, Marathon and Wildwater Racing.The club boasts many International and World Class paddlers amongst it's membership who have gained top honours over the years.There are several daily training groups for those involved in competitive canoeing as well as recreational sessions for those who just wish to enjoy the environment and the socialising. The club runs several 6 week introduction to canoeing courses each year which are usually heavily over-subscribed.  There are numerous club boats and other equipment available to club members who are not at the stage of owning their own.There is a fleet of Beginners Kayaks and Canoes in addition to Racing Kayaks and Canoes, so everyone is catered for, regardless of having their own boat.A wide age range is catered for.  The club caters for people from beginners to those racing at international level.
