Interested in giving kayaking a go?We run come and try courses throughout summer where we give you a taste of what it is like to paddle a racing kayak, with basic tuition and helpers on hand to guide you through the process of getting in and going.After this, you can sign up to take part in a beginner course. Here you are provided with a wealth of knowledge to help you progress your skills and advance your proficiency in the boat, with adept tuition provided by knowledgeable and qualified instructors. The day will involve getting familiarised with the boat again, getting fitted in the boat and craft care skills. This will then be followed by on land tuition and clear demonstrations of skills, then getting in the boat and giving it a go.
