Leaside has a long standing history within the paddling community and its national governing body, British Canoeing.  We have been at the forefront of introducing Londoners to this unique and exciting sport. A significant number of our Members have progressed into competition and have excelled at local, national and international performance levels. A vast number of our Members used the skills that they have been taught to gaining professional qualifications utilising those either by volunteerings or to successfully seek employment within the outdoor industry.Our prime location on the banks of the River Lea will enable you to access and experience paddling in a beautiful setting situated on the border of the Lee Valley Regional Park within a close proximity to Walthamstow Wetlands, Walthamstow Marshes, the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and Limehouse Basin adjacent to the River Thames.Our fleet of craft will cater for all abilities and will enable you to experience all types of different paddlesport disciplines; touring on the tidal thames, whitewater kayaking in Scotland, multi-day canoe adventures, local stand-up paddleboarding adventure, flat water racing for personal fitness or competitions.All of these activities can be experienced as:a one off for: individuals, schools, private or corporate groups.regular sessions for: individuals, schools, private or corporate groups.personal performance awards or professional courses.Bespoke tailored activities to suit individual or group/team needs.
