Addlestone Canoe Club in Surrey is the place to learn, practice and perform all types of canoeing and kayaking whether you like a gentle paddle down the canal, sheltered water touring, sprint racing, marathon racing, Whitewater or Freestyle. The Club offers Sprint kayaking and Marathon Kayaking and also has an active community of Whitewater paddlers running regular trips to Dartmoor, North & South Wales, the Lake District and Scotland.  There is also a community of freestyle paddlers who can be found regularly using the Thames Weirs.  We are a multi discipline club that welcomes all those interested in paddle sports from White Water to Sprint and Marathon Racing to Canoe Touring and Stand-Up Paddle Boarding (SUP).ACC is probably the most diversified Club in the region, and we run programmes and instruction to suit beginners and advanced paddlers of all ages and abilities. Due to our location on the Wey Navigation, we have developed a special ethos of providing a wide variety of Canoeing experiences and opportunities for young people. Some of our young paddlers have gone on to represent Great Britain at International events while some adult members have participated in the renowned Devizes to Westminster Canoe Race.Based on the edge of the picturesque Wey Navigation, Addlestone Canoe Club has been established for over 40 years. ​The club is within easy reach of local locks and weirs, the Wey Navigation and the River Thames. The club is well equipped with all types of canoes, kayaks, paddles and paddling kit which are included as part of the membership. Members can apply to store boats at the club.  The clubhouse has recently undergone a huge transformation and we now have our lovely new facilities that opened in 2021. They include new fit for purpose club room, changing facilities with hot showers, a small kitchen and fitness room.Addlestone Canoe Club is run by volunteer members, for the benefit of its membership and the wider community.  Paddling sessions are run throughout the year for local youth groups and schools, introducing all ages to paddle sports, in a fun and safe environment.
