Teignbridge canoe Club was established 1984 and is based on the seafront at Teignmouth. We are a very active Club currently with 133 members. During the summer months we run Club Nights on a Wednesday evening and sea & estuary trips at the weekend. Winter months and our focus changes to river running and white water on local rivers. We also run trips away for both sea and river paddling in the UK and abroad. The variety of trips/events that we run in our programme encompass all paddlesport for all abilities.We run training for all levels from Taster Sessions to Start, Discover and Explore and Paddle Skills such as Sea Kayak Award and White-water Award. We also invest in training for Leaders and Coaches. Safety is very important to us and so we organise our own training with CPD points and training with trusted providers including PSR, White Water Safety, First Aid and VHF License.We offer membership subscription rates for Adult, Youth and Family, student and our unique shore membership for whose who are taking a rest from paddling.This is our vision for our Club, and you can assured of a very warm welcome:"Teignbridge Canoe Club believes in respect for our members, our community and our environment.
