Here at Shropshire Paddlesport we run a professional but informal family-orientated club, offering opportunities for children and adults at all levels to enjoy paddling in kayaks, canoes and SUPs in a relaxed and safe environment.Shropshire Paddlesport is an affiliated British Canoeing not-for-profit club. Our vision is to inspire and nurture the human spirit, one paddle stroke at a time. Whatever your paddle discipline (kayak, canoe, SUP or racing boat) we will offer continual improvement and recognition for all abilities and all ages in our community. Individuals and families, experienced or new to our sport will be welcomed into our family friendly, community focused Club, caring of its members and the environment they paddle in.The modern club house is on an excellent site next to the canal with shower and changing facilities. Saturday morning is offered to anyone who wants to try paddling or improve their skills. The summer programme includes marathon, kayaking, SUP and open boat evenings. We run tours to local rivers and lakes and further afield in Scotland and France. During the winter months we run regular pool sessions with volunteer coaches teaching and supporting members acquire new skills.
