Welcome to North Berwick Kayak Club! NBKC was founded in 1999 with the aim of promoting paddling in North Berwick and the surrounding area.

We enjoy predominantly sea kayaking from our unrivalled location on Scotland's warm east coast. With the Bass Rock, Craigleith, Fidra, the Lamb and Eyebroughy close to us, we specialise in getting adults and young people ready to enjoy sea paddling adventures. We are dependent on volunteer coaches and at present do not have the skillsets to offer training in whitewater or canoeing.

We have a fleet of modern sea kayaks and all the associated kit so you don't need to buy your own boat ever. We've found that people from the age of 13 upwards can fit into our boats and enjoy an appropriate level of challenge.

We offer Paddle Start and Discover awards, safety training, advice and friendly support through peer-paddling with other members.
