We are a family friendly club based on the River Medway where we have our clubhouse, this includes: club room with kitchen, changing rooms with showers and storage for club and private boats. All members have full access to the clubhouse facilities plus club boats, buoyancy aids, paddles and spray decks. Club activities include paddling in general purpose kayaks and canoes, marathon and sprint racing, white water, river and sea touring and some social events. Our regular club sessions are on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings but members with the necessary experience can use the club and club equipment out of normal club hours, many of the club's racing paddlers train during the week and have access to indoor training equipment to build fitness. We hold pool sessions every month where learning to handle a kayak, e.g. rolling can take place in warm, safe water with expert tuition. People new to the sport of canoeing can learn to handle various types of craft, GP kayaks, racing kayaks, canoes, sit-on-tops, stand up paddle boards (SUPs) on our beginner courses provided by expert coaches over and 8 hour session that can be spread of 1 to 4 sessions.
