Hastings & District Canoe Club is based at West of Haven, Cinque Ports Way, Hastings. We are a small friendly club promoting paddlesport. The club is run totally by volunteers; this includes the coaches who give up their time freely. Membership of the club gives members access to club boats and equipment, and use of the best beach hut on the sea front.With our Club based on the beach, paddling on the sea is our main activity; but we like to introduce members to all kayaking disciplines. We have regular pool sessions and also organise trips away to provide varied paddling opportunities to suit differing abilities.The Club has achieved its Clubmark accreditation; this ensures that the Club meets national operating standards. We are affiliated to British Canoeing and also work with our local Councils, Schools and Youth Groups.We are always looking to recruit new members and endeavour to create as many training opportunities for new members as possible.
