We are a small, friendly club of enthusiastic recreational canoeists of all abilities and interests, mainly based in the London area. We paddle regularly on a Tuesday evening (on the Thames at Chiswick or in a swimming pool in Hackney).  We also run weekend trips and weeks away (river and sea touring and white water).  Membership is open to adults who are members of our parent club, the CSSC.  Most public sector workers can join the CSSC as of right (not just civil servants) and others can be nominated to join.  Newcomers, including complete beginners, are welcome to paddle with us at any time of the year to help them to decide whether to join the club.  A couple of times a year we hold ‘taster sessions’ to allow groups of approximately 10 novices to paddle on the same day.
