Cardiff Canoe Club is a family friendly canoe and kayak club based in the heart of Wales’ capital. Our membership includes paddlers from a range of disciplines, ages and abilities. From autumn through until early spring, we run weekly sessions at Cardiff International Pool, with opportunities to work on skills as well as social paddling and informal canoe polo games. We run river trips approximately every two weeks on rivers around South Wales and organise weekend trips to the South West, North Wales and around the UK. During the warmer months of the year, we run weekly sessions at Cosmeston Lakes and on the River Taff and will be frequent visitors to Cardiff International White Water. We run sea kayaking day and weekend trips around South Wales and Pembrokeshire. We're also open to SUP paddlers and Open Boaters at our outdoor sessions. Beginners sessions are available for those paddlers who are new to the sport or returning after an extended break. The club has a wide range of equipment suitable for all paddlers as well as access to a launching pontoon for those with additional mobility needs.
