BKCC’s purpose is to promote kayaking and canoeing, through offering coaching and led trips. All our coaches and leaders hold qualifications recognised by Paddle Scotland and Paddle UK. Our members are typically from the Scottish Borders and North Northumberland, towns such as Berwick-upon-Tweed, Wooler, Coldstream, Kelso, Melrose, Duns, etc.

BKCC activities at sea are typically from Berwick-upon-Tweed, on rivers such as the Tweed, Teviot and Till, the Whiteadder Reservoir. We also hold indoor swimming pool sessions to practise rescue techniques, develop and refine skills in a safe warm pool environment.
