We are a friendly, British Canoeing affiliated club that promotes paddle sports as a means of being active, enjoying the outdoors and having fun.  We partake in many paddle sport activities including: Kayaking, Canoeing, Slalom, Freestyle, Surfing, Touring and Stand-Up-Paddle boarding (SUP).  We are based in Shoreham-by-Sea at 3rd Shoreham Sea Scouts, next to the Adur river, north of Norfolk Bridge (postcode BN43 5LT).  We paddle here every Sunday morning. The River Adur is tidal so our Sunday sessions are run on a traffic light system depending on the tide.*GREEN TIDE = Beginners session with flat water.*AMBER TIDE = Intermediate, moderately moving water.*RED TIDE = Fast water for experienced paddlers only. Details of all club sessions are posted on the Events Calendar page.   Weekend sessions are available to book at 6pm on the Sunday before. Beginners must attend a green tide first. New participants to the club who have previous experience are encouraged to join us first on a green tide but can contact a senior coach to discuss other tides using the Contact Us facility.
