In these terms of use, “we” “us” and “our” refers to the service provided via PaddlePoints at https://gopaddling.info/ (“the Service). PaddlePoints is a service offered via Go Paddling which is part of, and administered by, Paddle UK. Your contribution, access to and use of all information (“Content”) on this website is provided subject to these Terms of Use (“the Terms”). We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time and your use of this website following any amendments will represent your agreement to be bound by these Terms as amended. By using the Services you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. In order to contribute to the Service provided on this website, you must become a member of PaddlePoints. You must complete registration by providing certain information as set out on our registration page. Please also refer to the Paddle UK Privacy Centre for details relating to the collection, storage, and use of the details you provide on registration or when using the Services.

2. You agree to ensure that your registration details including your email address and name are true and accurate and agree to update your details from time to time if and when they change. If we become aware that your details are incorrect, we reserve the right to immediately cancel your registration and acceptance for registration in the future will be at our discretion.

3. On registration, you will provide an email address, display name and password. You are responsible for safeguarding your account so ensure you select a strong password and limit the access to the account. We cannot be held liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply in this regard.

4. We reserve the right to terminate your membership of PaddlePoints at any time if you materially breach these Terms.

Shared Content

5. You are solely responsible for any and all Content you contribute to the Service. When you provide Content you retain ownership of the intellectual property in that information, however you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence (with the right to sublicense) in perpetuity to use (including copy, reproduce, adapt, modify, publish, broadcast, transmit, display and distribute) the Content in any and all media including forms not yet developed. This licence continues even when you cease your membership.

22. PaddlePoints is a collaborative resource and as such, the information entered on PaddlePoints is done so by the paddling community, for the paddling community. Users should note that just because a PaddlePoint has been added, this does not necessarily confer a right of access and it is the responsibility of the individual user to ensure they are not trespassing on private land.

Limitation of Liability

23. To the full extent permitted by law, our liability for breach of an implied warranty or condition is limited to the supply of the Service again or payment of the costs of having those services supplied again.
